Lufthansa’s 100th Anniversary Celebration
Lufthansa officially turned 100 and celebrated its anniversary over two consecutive days at the brand-new Lufthansa Group Hangar One conference and visitor center. As the venue’s long-standing event technology partner, Sinus was commissioned by Wolf One GmbH to handle the entire technical planning and implementation for all aspects of the event.
An overview of the highlights of our services:
✓ Visuals & Lighting: Over 100 m² of high-resolution LED walls, as well as a comprehensive lighting design featuring, among other things, 18 JB-Lighting P15 moving heads.
✓ Audio & Communication: A decentralized sound system covering the entire hall, a comprehensive wireless intercom system, and professional microphone setups for emcees, speeches, singing, and instruments.
✓ Infrastructure : Comprehensive technical planning, rigging, a complete network infrastructure, and the entire on-site power supply.
✓ Control Room: An impressive front-of-house area measuring about 30 running meters and a fully equipped media control room in the background.
The anniversary ceremony took place on the first day of the event. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz delivered the official keynote address; Lufthansa CEO Carsten Spohr and the then-Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Dr. Karl-Ludwig Kley, also took the stage. The rest of the program featured remarks by guests from the worlds of politics, business, and the media, as well as musical performances. The press was also on site to cover the event.
On the second day, the Lufthansa Group’s top management gathered at the new location at Frankfurt Airport.
