Condor Special Night – Farewell to Ralf Teckentrup in Technical Hall 7

In an emotional and impressively staged grand event, @condorairlines bid farewell to its charismatic CEO, Ralf Teckentrup, after an impressive 20 years of shared success under his leadership.

The “Condor Special Night” took place shortly before Christmas in the impressive Hall 7 at Düsseldorf Airport. More than 200 invited guests from the aviation, political, and business communities gathered in the impressive hall to celebrate this special occasion.

Sinus Event-Technik handled the entire technical planning and execution of this extraordinary event—from the initial concept to the final execution. Within a single day, we transformed part of the aircraft hangar into an elegant event space complete with a stage, bar, and catering area. The particular challenge: the acoustically demanding environment. Thanks to carefully planned sound reinforcement, we were able to ensure excellent speech intelligibility during the speeches—a key factor in the evening’s success.

An absolute highlight was the ceremonial unveiling of the new Condor Airbus A330neo, which was perfectly showcased in the center of the hall. The lighting design played a key role in this: from atmospheric ambient lighting to the emotional unveiling of the new “danke, tecke” logo, our team ensured the moment was just right—technically precise and visually impressive.

The live band GLOW was supported by Sinus with sound and lighting equipment to ensure their performance was impressive and ran smoothly despite the unique venue layout.
