Innovative Technology for Participatory Space Design – Internal Merck Event on the New ARC Life Science Research Center

As part of the planning process for the new “Advanced Research Center” (ARC) at Merck’s Darmstadt site, an internal stakeholder event was held in which future users were actively involved in the design of the research center’s spaces. The goal was to gather feedback on innovative design concepts at an early stage and to collaboratively develop a forward-looking work environment.

Sinus Event-Technik supported Merck Life Science in the technical implementation of this dialogue-oriented event. To this end, we provided a high-performance infrastructure consisting of laptops, tablets, and state-of-the-art VR technology, which enabled participants to interactively explore the proposed spatial solutions. In addition, comprehensive Wi-Fi coverage was provided for all exhibitors. To ensure high-quality visual presentation, we installed additional monitors on the back walls of the exhibition areas—discreetly integrated into the overall design and strategically used to showcase the spatial concepts and 3D visualizations.
