Meet Manuel—our multitool
It all started rather by chance: At age 18, the trained biology lab technician provided technical support for the first time at a cardiology conference. Numerous assignments in the events industry followed, until he joined Sinus through a friend. He started out as a freelancer at events and in the warehouse, and has been a permanent member of the Sinus team since 2023. Fortunately, his answer to the question, “Wouldn’t you like to join Sinus full-time?” was: Yes.
Today, Manu is the assistant warehouse manager, a member of the trade show and set construction team, a truck driver for special assignments, a sound technician for small events, the technical director when extra help is needed, and sometimes even the technical point of contact for the entire team. Among his highlights are working at the Frankfurt Airport venue “Hangar One” prior to its opening and helping to plan the technical aspects of the “100 Years of Lufthansa” celebration.
In his free time, Manu finds balance in the garden as an amateur gardener. He also prefers active ski vacations to lounging on the beach! And when Manu goes skiing, he skis—it feels like from sunrise to sunset! As an instructor on the Sinus ski team, he’s become an indispensable part of the group.
Cooking and barbecuing for friends and family are also among his passions.
And then there’s his involvement with the DLRG Pfungstadt. He has been active there since childhood and has served for many years as a counselor at youth camps, a member of the youth board, and a coordinator for trips, camps, and international exchanges.
And last but not least, as a true native of Pfungstadt, Manu is, of course, one of the Rose Festival lads.
Dear Manu, thank you for your dedication, your versatility, your knowledge, and your consistently cheerful disposition—and for always being there when things get complicated. We’re glad to have you on the team!
