Since 2019, our system has not only covered our own electricity needs but has also allowed us to feed electricity back into the grid. We are therefore proud to generate sustainable electricity and thus contribute to the energy transition.
Electric Vehicles at Sinus
We are convinced that electric vehicles are an important step toward a more sustainable future. That is why we have added six electric vehicles to our fleet in recent years and plan to continue expanding our electric fleet in the future.
Electric vehicle charging stations up to 22 kW
We have installed 11 electric vehicle charging stations on the Sinus company premises for Sinus vehicles, customer vehicles, and employee vehicles. To encourage the switch to electric vehicles, both employees and customers can use these charging stations free of charge. These charging stations are controlled via active load management using power generated by our photovoltaic system.
Conversion to LED Technology
The entire Sinus company building has been fully equipped with LED technology for several years now. In addition, we have now converted nearly our entire rental fleet to LED. LEDs have a very long service life, are more efficient, and are more environmentally friendly, which not only saves a lot of money but also reduces CO2 emissions significantly.
Home Automation—A Smart Solution
All the heating systems in our offices are controlled by a building automation system. This technology ensures that the temperature in our offices is automatically lowered when the space is not in use. The building automation system is easy to use and allows us to manage our energy consumption much more efficiently.
Sinus Plants Trees
As part of our renovation efforts, we at Sinus have planted trees to help reduce air pollution. In addition, we make donations to local foresters to support the maintenance and protection of our forests.
