SHIP CHRISTENING OF THE "TUI MAYA"
The new TUI River Cruiser was christened in a small but festive setting. Sinus implements the entire technology for the event on the sun deck. In addition to the lighting, sound, video and stage, a Sinus camera team recorded the event. In addition to the speeches, highlights of the evening included the illuminated stilt walkers, the atmospheric musical accompaniment by a violinist and the fountains when the champagne bottle burst on the ship’s hull. The bottle was swung precisely onto the hull using a kabuki system from Sinus. After a successful event, teamwork had to be demonstrated, as the subsequent dismantling had to be completed by the time the ship sailed at 03:00. But no problem for our experienced team.
The Sinus camera team stayed on board for another three days and recorded further scenes together with TUI.
