For our client Lufthansa AG / MUC AG we organized a 3-day conference with live audience and 2 evening events (get-together and dinner + gala event followed by a party). Sinus was responsible for the technical consulting, design of a stage and hall setup, as well as the planning and realization of the event.
The conference took place at the Lufthansa Seeheim – More than a Conference Hotel. An open setup was chosen to suit the process, which was adapted to the unique conditions in Seeheim. An impressive stage set-up with a large screen was used, which captivated the audience during the day with a view of the valley, slope and forest, while still allowing the audience to focus on the presentations. In the evening, an extensive lighting design carried the mood of the audience and set contrasts to the respective slots of the event with sophisticated accents. The highlights were accompanied by photographs, including Reproduced as a mosaic on the big screen. An impressive sound system was installed throughout the hall, specially calibrated to ensure clear speech during the day and fluttering trouser legs in the evening.
A special challenge for Sinus: the extensive technical set-up was flown completely with a ceiling height of only 5m. The almost 3m high screen had to be clearly visible from every angle of the hall and of course no speaker on stage was allowed to be in the picture. So the truss construction was rethought to be able to “carry” all requirements without visually reducing the size of the hall and to conceal several tons of technology very inconspicuously and clearly. For this purpose, over 200 running meters of Prolyte traverse with 16 motors were installed in the roof and monitored precisely and safely with load cells.
All in all, it was a successful event with lots of happy faces. We are delighted to have been a part of the event team.
