STIHL DEALER MEETING - 35 HOURS STREAM
As in the previous year, Sinus was commissioned to provide the technical equipment and organize the STIHL dealer meeting. The Sinus team turned the service workshop into a television studio. Several LED panels were used to illuminate the stage area. Battery-powered LED PARs and LED floodlights were used for decorative illumination. The video team had the task of filming the various players from the Training & Sales division, as well as the TV presenter Markus Philipp. Two operated Sony camera trains and a Panasonic remote camera were used for this. The program included product shows with pre-recorded clips on various topics, interviews and presentations. Live broadcasts were also produced on several days to other locations in Germany, either at a STIHL specialist dealer or, for example, on a golf course. Several preview monitors were successfully deployed throughout the studio so that both the live broadcast and the viewers’ questions could be seen in every interview situation. The technology was controlled via a Panasonic vision mixer and a data control room consisting of several computers and an Analog Way Ascender 32. 35 hours of smooth streaming in HD quality was achieved via Teradek Encoder. This was recorded and is available for specialist dealers afterwards. The sound department equipped the speakers with Shure Axient Digital radio links and lavalier microphones. A Yamaha QL1 was used for sound processing and signal distribution. Monitoring was carried out both with loudspeakers in the room and via Sennheiser InEar wireless links. The control room team consisted of a total of 10 people who were able to communicate with each other via ASL Intercom.
